snapshots of europe #6 – rome.

Rome, one of my favourite cities in Europe. Absolutely amazing history/architecture. The history is sheerly stunning. Vatican City, Roman Forum, Colosseum, Castle Sant’Angelo are some highlights but there are many many many more. I stayed there 5 days but could spend a month there. The food was surprisingly good – amazing risotto I found in some neighbourhood restaurants. I stayed at the Lodi Hostel – about 30mins from the city centre. Absolutely amazing staff there, highly recommend you stay there if you are in Rome. Anyway, here are some happy snaps:

A great city and the last stop of my trip. So many good memories. Different parts of the trip came flooding back to me when I was on the way to Fiumicino Airport.

Can’t wait to be back in Europe, soon! For those following, this series isn’t over, still have yet to cover London etc!
