St Andrews, Scotland

Another weekend, another quick visit. This time we headed off to St Andrews in the North-East of Scotland. Renowned for the university, we also went to the Castle and the local beach which was quite beautiful in winter.

For some reason it was 3x colder than anywhere else in Scotland that we had visited up to this stage. Nevertheless it’s a lovely place to visit, there are plenty of bars and pubs to warm up in.

  1. Breathtaking! When my parents came to visit us when we were stationed in Scotland, we went to St. Andrews. My father got the thrill of his life when he was selected to fill in for a no-show golfer at ‘The Old Course’. My two favorite things to do there were to wander around the ruins and traipse up and down the streets of the town checking out the charity shops. I once even got invited to do a craft show there. Beautiful City! You are magic with a camera!
